Event Marketing Assistant

This position welcomes any candidate across Canada and around the world.
We are looking for Event Marketing Assistants for various cities & countries where Fairs are been held.

Job Type: Full & Part Time (Days, Evenings, Weekends)
Salary: $50 - $100 per day
Start Day: Immediately

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Event Marketing Assistant manages the development and execution of communications campaigns and programs that support the marketing plan. He/she researches, writes, reports and works with Fair Management to develop creative content (e.g. websites, social media, Flyer distribution, networking, etc.) This position guides the production and distribution of communications to ensure quality control and timely receipt by the target audience.

Working with and managing relationships with social media is a major focus of this position. The Representative also develops communications plans and manages communications projects. Duties include determining objectives and creative recommendations, developing a creative development plan with timelines and milestones, and gaining plan support and approval. This individual also collaborates with others to ensure consistency of message, and prepares reports on the program or campaign’s progress, results and successes.

The Event Marketing Assistant is responsible for achieving his/her assigned marketing plan by generating profitable revenue growth through the development of new business within his/her territory. This position analyzes hiring’s current needs to create recruiting solutions to customers’ requests.

The Second focus of this position is to conduct face-to-face business contact. The Representative travels to customer sites to network and gather information. He/she builds relationships between Jobs Canada and the employer and generates hiring opportunities across all product and service lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and grow business contacts (e.g., emails, networking, job fairs)
  • Introduce new businesses and expand business opportunities within customer accounts
  • Research resources and Qualify leads (websites, social Medias, networking, job fairs)
  • Work and report to Fair Management on weekly basis or upon request by Management.
  • Selects appropriate media channels (e.g., social Medias, websites, videos, etc),
  • develops and implements external hiring opportunities and monitors effectiveness.
  • Manages event marketing productions and distributions (social Medias, flyers, websites, etc)
  • Creating and organizing logistics, implementation and monitoring progress.

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
  • Self independent - Able to work from home.
  • Easy to travel with public transportation for networking.
  • Ability to work extra hours as required
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Management needs may dictate additional related duties as required
  • Demonstrates some advanced knowledge of social media and networking.


Driver Needed


Location: Across Canada
Jobs Canada is looking for professional driver for various cities where Fairs are been held.

Job Type: Full & Part Time
Pay progression: $50 - $100 per day.

Time:
  • Driving is needed on the date of the Job Fair and could be for 1-3 weeks according to Job Fairs across Canada.
  • Start & Finish time depend on each Job Fair, traveling and arrival time
REQUIREMENT
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs. Must be at least 30 years old.
  • Available to work mornings and evenings as per above time
  • Ability to drive 10 - 24hrs per day across Canada or 2-4 hrs per day within city.
  • Old a valid Ontario Driver Licens (G, M, M1, M2, M )
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Management needs may dedicate additional related duties as required

Job Description

  • Loading and unloading pipes and drapes into/out the trailers and in/out the Hotel.
  • Set up pipes and drapes in the Hotel according to event’s Floor Plan
  • Dismantle pipes and drapes at the end of the Fair.
  • Must be able to handle packages up to 70lbs



General Labor Assistant


Location: Across Canada
Jobs Canada is looking for general labor assistants for various cities where Fairs are been held.

Job Type: Full & Part Time
Pay progression: $50 - $100 per day.

Time:
  • Start & Finish time: 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Approx - flexibility required according to the Fair)
  • Start & Finish time: 5:00 PM - 07:00 PM (Approx - flexibility required according to the Fair)

Job Description
